Hours

Camp runs Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Early drop-off from 7:30 am and late pickup until 6:00 pm are FREE, so camp fits your workday.

Where

768 W Spring Street, Monroe, GA 30655. Same place as our after school program.

A day at camp

  1. Drop-off

    FREE early drop-off any time from 7:30 am. Camp starts at 9:00.

  2. Morning snack time

    A quick refuel. Snacks are available to buy.

  3. Activities

    Martial arts, sports, tumbling, crafts and more.

  4. Lunch

    Kids eat the lunch you pack from home.

  5. Afternoon snack time

    Another refuel. Snacks are available to buy.

  6. More activities

    Games, Kid Cave, park trips and more fun with friends.

  7. Pickup

    Camp ends at 5:00. FREE late pickup any time until 6:00 pm.

Snacks are available for purchase at both snack times, and there's a water fountain.

What to bring

  • Comfortable shoes

A note from our founder

"I didn't grow up with a strong father in my corner. I learned early how much a child needs someone who shows up, believes in them, and expects their best.

That's why I started Motivate. I wanted more than a place to learn martial arts. I wanted a place that changes lives. The focus, respect, and discipline our students learn on the mat carry into every camp day here: games, sports, time outside, how kids treat each other, and how they handle a tough day.

What are camp hours?

Camp runs Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Early drop-off from 7:30 am and late pickup until 6:00 pm are FREE.

At Motivate Academy, 768 W Spring Street, Monroe, GA 30655.

What ages is camp for?

Grades K-5, same as our after school program.

What do kids do all day?

Martial arts, outdoor sports, dodgeball, tumbling and rolls, arts and crafts, board games and toy time, Kid Cave (video game time) and trips to the park.

Do you run camp on school holidays, teacher workdays and early release?

Yes. During the school year, school holidays, teacher workdays and early-release days are camp days, and they run the same 7:30 am to 6:00 pm hours as summer camp.

When does camp start?

Summer 2027 camp runs May 27 to July 30, 2027, Monday to Friday.

What about lunch and snacks?

Parents pack lunch. We have a morning and an afternoon snack time, with snacks available for purchase, plus a water fountain.

What should my child bring?

Comfortable shoes, a water bottle, a packed lunch, their martial arts uniform (every child gets one when they enroll), a change of clothes (recommended), and a favorite toy or game if they'd like (within reason).

Can I use my Dependent Care FSA?

After school and camp may be eligible. Check your plan.
